Cask (handpump) at Brodies Bunny Basher Festival at King William IV, Leyton on 1 May 2011. Hazy gold colour. Rather sharp hop character in the aroma. Quite lemony on the palate. Dry, tart mouthfeel with a generous complement of bitterness. Clean and refreshing, although the hops didn’t sing out as loud or display as much ebullience as in some other pale, hoppy Brodies beers.

Cask at the Brodies Bunny Basher Festival, King William IV, 1st May 2011. Light hazy gold with no head. Fresh nose and flavour. Grapefruit, grass, lemon. Okay but not one of their best.

Cask at Brodies BF. Clearish gold pour with a slight head. Kind of plastic, lemon citrus in the aroma. Flavor is lightly sweet with grass and citrus. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Bit more grassy hops in the finish. Not impressed.

Cask handpull at William IV Leyton. Quite nettley hop throughout. I liked the initial hop and mouthfeel. Hoppy nettley golden ale

From cask at the brewpub. Pours clear and pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is lemonish crisp hoppy. Light herbal and grassy to citrusy. Bitter and bone dry. Citrusy and bitter finish. Herbal lasting impression.
