Keg @ the rake - very nice bronze red body - somewhat flat nose, some mild fruity hops - taste is better with solid hop bitterness, dark red fruit, earthy tones. Very solid but a tad lacking in excitement

Keg at The Furnace, Derby, in company of Loz, Dad & Pauline. Saturday 22nd February 2014 Listed as Shiny v Brodies at The Furnace. Pours amber in colour perhaps a little red edge to it. Once this has warmed up a little you can start to pick up the aroma its nice with some pine resin, grapefruit and even a tropical side, crikey they have covered all bases here and by heck it is wonderfully hoppy on nose and in mouth. Some pithy grapefruit in mouth, nice body, pine and tropical flavours also showing. Great beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Bottle. Brown and poured with a small head. leaving some sediment floating on the top. Hoppy and floral. Pleasant and easy to drink with a lovely label.

Draught at Mikkeller Bangkok.
A bit strange beer. Orange-reddish appearance, small off white head. Aroma of grass, lemon, freaky brett. Flavor of lime, some malt, bit of resinous hops. Could be a bit infected?

Draft at Howl at the Moon, Hackney on 11 January 2014. Poured a cloudy red with a dense, white head and good lacing. Aroma of iodine, boiled sweets and mango. Melon, candy sugar and bitter grass on the initial flavours. Finish was bitter hop resin, pine needles and toffee.

Tap at BD Shepherds Bush. Pours red amber with a lace driven beige head. Nose is heavy pine and grapefruit, woody with a meatiness to it. Like light bacon. Taste is big grapefruit and grass. Very raw and leafy. Quaffer at its finest. Good stuff

Keg at BD Shep Bush. It pours an amber colour with a medium off white head on top. Fruity, hoppy aroma. Tastes hoppy, fruity, malty some caramel. Ok.

Aroma: light hops, very light for an IPA, citrus fruits?. Appearance: dark amber, creamy big white head. Taste: sweet at first turning into mild bitterness. Palate: hops, mild bitterness. Overall: atypical but great IPA, very drinkable. Pint at King William IV, London.

Bottle. Itís a semi-clear, dark orange-golden beer with a dense, off-white to beige head of finger-thick size. The aroma has a meaty touch, but oranges and green pine cones are pulling the heaviest load. Itís bitter on the palate, with orange peel and pine cones, as well as maltyness in the back. Full-bodied and not too sweet, finishing mostly bitter. A tasteful and pleasant IPA well worth a revisit. 121130

Keg at The Old Coffee Shop. Pours a murky orange/brown with a thin off-white head. Nice aroma. Smoky, sweet, overripe fruits, dark fruit, toffee. Medium to light body, a touch powdery, medium carbonation. It's smoky, toffee, a touch of banana, nice funky overripe tropical fruit, darker fruits, dark sugar and a pleasant earthiness next to a warming hit of booze with a touch of citrus at the end. Fairly mild bitterness. Tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
