Draft at blue monk, slightly cloudy blonde pour. Mild lacing white head. Citrusy hop aroma, citrus heavy flavor, big bitterness. Citrus zest, grapefruit, orange pith. Very tasty IPA, impressed

on tap at William Fouth, Leyton, and also bottle from local Spar. Yum! pale yellow with a slight red tinge, light head. aroma of pineapple, pine, hint of funk. Complex flavour- pine, guava, pineapple, hint of toffee... mouthfeel more bitter than the initial flavour. Delicious.

Bottle from Brodie’s Brewpub. Cloudy amber brown colour, reasonable head. Citrus, tropical fruit & hop aroma. Resin hop flavour. Bitter hop aftertaste. A really good IPA.

33cl Bottle from deeblo, thanks a lot for this gem Bruce! Slightly hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma is just stunning, laden with tropical fruits, later on some cabbage, weed. Flavour is medium sweet, sugar, light floral, light earthy, liquorice root powder, loads of zesty tropical fruits, passionfruit, grapefruit, lime, bitter fruity hoppy finish. Light to medium-bodied, soft carbonation, oily mouthfeel. Superb IPA.

Bottle from Cotteridge WInes, Birmingham. Smells unbelievable: redolent with tropical hops. Taste (i.e. flavour) is soooo good. The hops are thick, super tropical fruit, with passionfruit, guava and a bit of milk. Dry finish, but by and large a juicy, squelching fruit festival. Sensational hops.

The head is good, the colour blond. It smells hoppy, citrus, a bit grassy hoppy-pellets. Clear taste of different hops and malt and a bit citrus. Good! 11/11/10/11/-/11

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2012 Why Hoxton when it’s brewed in Leyton? Smells of a desperate bid for hipsterdom to me! Geographic pedantry aside, this was ace - from bottle, pale gold, lovely aroma of hops, peaches and pineapple; tastes of lots of piney hops and tropical fuit; bitter, dry finish; I could still taste it the following day and it reminded me of the pineapple melba my mother used to make (a good thing, in case you’ve never tasted it); excellent.

From cask dispense at the Old Coffee House, Soho (Feb ’12). Pours a light golden/straw colur with a small fluffy white head - which really just turns to bubbles after a few minutes Good honest hoppy smell - but not too heavy on the nose. Citrus and pine predominate with a little floral background. Tastewise - again citrus hops, orange, mango, tropical fruit, pine a little caramel in the background A medium bodied beer with low carbonation and a bitter-dry finish Overall a decent hoppy IPA from Brodies - one to try again!

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a cloudy opaque golden with a rough white head. Sweet fruity nose, lots of tropical peachy accents. Medium body, lightly sweet fruit and then a wonderful melange of tropical fruit - any Sorachi Ace in there? Dry and bitter but perfectly balanced by the sweetness. My kinda IPA. 030812
