Keg @ BrewDog Edinburgh [070213]
Light amber, soft haze, thin white head
Aroma of fresh zesty hops, fresh citrus, bit pissy, sweet pale malts, lots of zest
Taste of sharp lemon zest, very zesty, very light sweet pale malts, lots of hops come through here
Palate - medium carb, light oily texture, biting zesty bitter palate. Finish as main flavour
Overall - A very good IPA, lots of hop flavour and biting zest and I like the very light malt background

On tap at Brewdog Camden. It pours a clear golden colour with a small white head. Mostly large bubbles. Aroma is all about hops with nice tropical fruit presence and pine notes. Taste is very bitter, with much less fruity hops and more forward on the piny and resiny notes. Mouthfeel is thin to medium with soft to average carbonation. Overall, quite good but a bit unbalanced and harsh, and I love IPAs.

Tap at William IV. Keg I think. Pale hazy blond, small off-white bubbly head. Aroma is strong, b.o. hops, resinous, ultra grapefruity. Taste is similar, very bitter grapefruit, bit sweaty, and quite spiky. Haven’t had a beer like this for a while, so nice refresher. Bit biscuity, slight spice. Further down but more tropical fruit once you get past the bitterness. Bit of mango and pineapple.

Half-pint, keg at King William IV, Leyton. Firm, creamy white head, dotted spots down the glass. Hazy golden body. Pineapple and grapefruit to the nose. Fresh fruity taste with lots of pineapples and tropical fruits to it, followed by a dry bitter ending. Soft in the mouth. Well bodied. Pleasing (London, 24.11.2012).

Cloudy good with compact white head. Aroma is sticky, sweaty pine hops which always appeals, although the flavour comes across slightly nastier than anticipated. Rather than another hop bomb there’s balance in here followed by a bitter finish. Good beer, just lacking a certain something.

Tap take-over at Mikkeller Bar. Golden with a lasting white head. Fruity aroma with peachy notes, and quite a bit of diacetyl. Sweet malty and fruity flavour with a decent bitter finish

Tap @ Mikkeller bar. Pours hazy Golden with a small White head. Nose is toffee and peach. Dry and citrussy Flavor with notes of peach and caramel. Bitter crisp finish Which saves this from being a disappointment!

Aroma of westcoast hops, cascade, chinook grapeish and floral. Taste is typical american ipa, many IbuS, fantastic for my taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
