Cask @ the Crosse Keys, Covent Garden. Amber pour with a fluffy white head. Citrus, pine and herbs in the aroma. Crisp citrus flavours with a hint of herbs. Smooth and competent brew.

Cask at the Star, London N19, on 5th July 2009. The gold-coloured beer was served crystal clear with a small, but lasting white head that left slight deposits on side of glass during moderate speed of consumption. The ale was on the best form that I have drunk it. Hempy hop aroma moves quickly to a very bitter taste on the roof of the mouth with the herby hop continuing, finalising with a long, satisfying finish of hoppy bitterness.

Cask @ Cross Keys, London. Golden with medium white head. Fruit hops, caramel and cookie dough. Stome sticky resiny hops on the back palate too. Dry hopped like finish. Very nice.

Leighton (4094) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 24, 2010
Cask at the Old Coffee House, London. Pours a clear, rich yellow with a faint film. Good hop aroma with mild dankness and citrus. Lightly sweet flavor with ome bread and decent bitterness. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Finishes with lingering bitterness ad mild malt notes. Good overall.

Cask at Cross Keys, Covent Garden, London. Good pale golden colour. Decent fluffy head on this one. Fresh hoppy aroma. Hoppy, fruity, slightly bitter taste. Very refreshing and quaffable London IPA.

A Mes rate: cask at the Old Coffee House in Soho.
Semi hazy gold with a thin white head. Sweet and fruity with some faint dusty hoppage. A combination of creamy fruit and dusky bitterness. Sounds regular but there is something just that little bit different about it. Impressive length. Not bad at all.

Jonte (1223) - Gothenburg, SWEDEN - JAN 31, 2010
Cask. The Old Coffee House, London. Yellow colour with a white head. Fruity, a bit on the sweet side, some grass. Easy drinking. More sweet and less bitter compared to the East London Gold.

BeerViking (1044) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 16, 2010
Cask at the 2010 Battersea Beer Festival. Deep gold with a lacy head and a slight haze. A floral nose with herb and malt notes, initial sweetness gives way to a dry malty bitterness. It is light for an IPA but very well balanced.

Dark golden with a small white head. Grassy aroma with tea-like notes, and fruity esters. Dry and grassy flavour with a floral touch. Medium bitterness.

Cask (William IV, Leyton, Brodies Christmas Cracker 2009)
Some sulphur, some sticky sweet fruity melon and peach. Perhaps under-attenuated - there’s some wortiness remaining. Hops are bitter and a touch pungent. Palate a bit milky in places. If attenuated just a little more, this has great potential.
