Bottle from the beerhive. Black brown, tiny brown head. Sweet burnt sugar and resin. Medium thin body, very little carbonation. Caramel, earthy citrus, hops. A bit underwhelming.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Muddy brown body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of brown sugar, tea and pine. Flavour of blood orange, earth and caramel. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Sweet and hoppy.

Half, from keg at King William IV. A fawn-coloured head blanketing the glass. Deep rosewood coloured body. Earthy malts, nuts and citrus aromas. Well blended taste of caramel malts, nuts and orange. Malt-fruity ending including roasted citrus shells. Fine bodied. Pleasing (London 09.04.2016).

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours clear brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of strong brown malt, light sour vinegar note. Taste is creamy, vinegar, astringent brown malt. Not sure about this one.

Keg at Brodies. Nice lacing. Big toffee malty hit. Medium sweet toffee, not getting loads of hops here until the medium bitter end. Tasty nonetheless.

Backlog rating. Keg at Old Coffee House, London. It pours a dark brown color with a big beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee and grapefruit. Taste is similar with nice bitterness from hops and roasted notes. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Very nice BIPA.

Unclear matt medium brown amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, roasted, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, pine, citrus, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, grapefruit, dry, pine. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.

Cask at the brewpub, deep chestnut with a lasting white head, hoppy nose with touches of citrus and toffee, palate is acrid bitterness, there are hints of toffee and nuts underneath but the acridness is overpowering.
