Taste is lemon rind, and chalky dry. Soft bitter. Crisp, although a little thin. Finishes light bitter. (Oh! I’ve just spotted the lemon sherbet thing in the commercial deScription. Get me!).

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
September 15, 2014 - at Old Coffee House; handpull. Hazy pale yellow (again a greenish tinge? must be the lighting in there) with a minimal mottled off-white bubbly head 3-). Smells like citra with tropical fruit, cut grass and fresh lemon - fairly sweet malt character but not too much of it (lemon sherbet in a glass indeed) - pretty nice stuff; light alcohol. Taste has even more lemon and pungent cattiness, but an odd note intrudes - burnt rope, or something peaty - it really detracts - brewing defect? Average body, a little still and astringent - medium coating finish; get rid of whatever this is and bump this score by .4 or .5.
