The lightest of English malts and a absolutely massive helping of English Pioneer Hops. Lemon sherbet in a glass!

Bottle. Yellow with a small head.An amazing amount of body and flavour for its strength, something this brewery seems to be very good at.Full of fruitiness with hops also bouncing around. A very good beer.

Pint draught (cask) @ The Old Coffee House, Soho, London. Quite pale indeed. This is basically citrus flavoured hops and water, i.e. Session IPA. I’d like to taste some malts too.

Bottle. Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Straw colour, with a gentle haze. Film, and some bubbles of white. Nose has lemon sherbet. Grain. Chalky mineral. Hint of pineapple. Taste is lemon rind, and chalky dry. Soft bitter. Crisp, although a little thin. Finishes light bitter. (Oh! I’ve just spotted the lemon sherbet thing in the commercial deScription. Get me!).

September 15, 2014 - at Old Coffee House; handpull. Hazy pale yellow (again a greenish tinge? must be the lighting in there) with a minimal mottled off-white bubbly head 3-). Smells like citra with tropical fruit, cut grass and fresh lemon - fairly sweet malt character but not too much of it (lemon sherbet in a glass indeed) - pretty nice stuff; light alcohol. Taste has even more lemon and pungent cattiness, but an odd note intrudes - burnt rope, or something peaty - it really detracts - brewing defect? Average body, a little still and astringent - medium coating finish; get rid of whatever this is and bump this score by .4 or .5.

Cask at Old Field. Hazy golden color. Low, thick hed. Great hop nose, tropical fruit and citrus. Herbal, peppery, grapefruit and cat piss flavor. Great hops, tangy, bitter. Clean malts. Nice drink.

[3/4/15] Cask at Cross Keys in London. Clear deep golden with a small white head. Buttery aroma with a bit of hops. Sweetish flavor with butter, some hops, and a bitterish finish. Kinda buttery still OK and easy-drinking.
