Cask at Southampton Arms. Pale blond colour with small white head. Aroma fruity pineapple, but citrus touch of hoppy bitterness. Taste bit creamy, lots of fruit, bit of malt. Quite soft and smooth. Got a bit of a orange lemon and pineapple squash taste about it which was strangely pleasant!

Hand pulled at Old Coffee House, Soho, London. Great smell - sweet and hoppy. Taste is oily and hoppy, but short lived. Nice, but finish is too slight.

Cask conditioned Handpump Old Fountain London. A light golden beer with a white bubbly head. Nice citrussy sharp hops in the nose. The same in the mouth. Really citrussy. You’d never think this was Pioneer. Lots of tangerine and some lemon too. Good malt balance. Well brewed as expected.

(Cask at Cross Keys, Covent Garden, London, 27 Nov 2011) Pale golden colour with creamy, white head. Fruity nose with notes of lemon, grapefruit, peaches, biscuity malt and grassy hops. Fruity taste with citrus (grapefruit, lemon), biscuits, grass and a generous bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Highly drinkable and quite tasty. Nice one.

Cask @ William IV. Golden body with a small white head. Nice, light citric fruity aroma with toast. Flavor is light malty, citric fruity and some berries. Light body, but this suits the flavor. Really quaffable.
