Cask at King Willliam IV, Leyton. The aroma is massively fruity. It smells like marmalade. The flavour is bitter with sour notes on the palate. It’s a little fruity, but a little watery too. An interesting pale ale!

Cask @ Old Coffee House. The pour’s a hazy gold color with a tiny head. The nos is lemon squash, general citrus, white grape and light spruce. The taste is much the same. Loads of lemon sherbet, pleasing bitter grass and wood. Light cake and cheese. Light body, super drinkable. Great vitality. Overall, I could drink this all day. Great.

Sampled cask @ King William IV. Pours a pale golden with a creamy lacing white head. Smell is sweet kiwi, white grapes, floral, lots of hops. Taste is a bit cat piss hops, bit herbal, floral bitter, white grapes, light kiwi, some yeast. Typical cask feel for me, less carb, bit watery, slightly fuller. Nice.

Cask, half, really enjoying ourselves at King William IV early on a Saturday eve. A near- clear golden coloured beer with a faint white head leaving dotted spots to the glassware. Mid-dry citrus to the nose. Grapefruit shells in the flavour added by mid-dry malts. Rather solid, dry bitterness to the finish. Nice (London, 24.11.2012).
