COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
100% Saaz lager beer. Aged for ten weeks at 5 degrees before being bottled for a smooth taste. You’ll stuggle to find a hoppier lager.

Keg at the old coffee house. Hazy gold tiny head. Nose is light lemon must and cake. Some mild spring fruit aromas. The taste is pineapple, tropical fruits, some Bready cake. Nice clean flavors, light. Soft carb. Good.

Bottle. Golden and cloudy which didn’t encourage me. Lots of fruitiness with hops and citrus also present. More like an IPA than a lager. Pity about the appearance.

500 ml bottle. Slightly hazy pale yellow body with a white head that fades rather quickly. Strong and really nice aroma of citric fruit, lemon and some grass. Flavour is light malty with fruit and balanced bitterness and just a hint fruity acidity to enhance the refreshing impression. A fantastic lager indeed.

What nonsense is this? 47/92? Travesty. Snobbery? You won’t just struggle to find a hoppier lager, you’ll struggle to find a better lager. Period. See what you’ve done? You’ve turned me into the kind of nob who says period. Birmingham beer family know the score, and that’s why we are the best. Delicious.

Bottle from Cotteridge WInes; can’t believe this is scoring under 50, delightful hoppy yellow hazy dream of a lager, really refreshing.

Bottle from the fridge at The Stilebridge, near Maidstone. Pours a coudy, but inviting lemon. Sweet delicious hoppy flavour. Keep this one coming.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Hazy, bright yellow, foam top. Smells really, really good. Tastes really, really good. Super hoppy, but still a light, refreshing lagery mouthfeel. Good dry backbone, aligned with a juicy, slightly bitter hop - but oh so fresh. Really, really good.
