100% Saaz lager beer. Aged for ten weeks at 5 degrees before being bottled for a smooth taste. You’ll stuggle to find a hoppier lager.

Cask (William IV, RBESG2011 Saturday)
Crisp refreshing malty body. Nice head. Gentle bite of hops which builds up well, though becomes a little dry and papery. A good lager with quite a lot of character. Almost as good as an ale.

Cask at William IV, London, during RBESG 2011. Pours clearish gold with a filmy head. Good bread and dough aroma. Crisp, clean flavor, light sugars, doughy malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild bitter finish, again clean and crisp, tight bread and dough. Very good. Highly drinkable.

From bottle at Brodies Autumn Festival at the William IV on 4 September 2010. Hazy straw colour. Clean and fresh. Touches of biscuity malt. Some noble hop character. Not one of Brodies’ stand-out beers for me but pretty solid.

Bottle at William IV. Pale gold, hazy thin white head. Musty slightly . OK finish. Hop and lemon curd. Apart from the mustiness on the aroma, an ok lager.
