Cask (William IV, RBESG2011 Saturday)
Crisp refreshing malty body. Nice head. Gentle bite of hops which builds up well, though becomes a little dry and papery. A good lager with quite a lot of character. Almost as good as an ale.

From bottle at Brodies Autumn Festival at the William IV on 4 September 2010. Hazy straw colour. Clean and fresh. Touches of biscuity malt. Some noble hop character. Not one of Brodies’ stand-out beers for me but pretty solid.
