Cask at William IV, London, during RBESG 2011. Pours clearish gold with a filmy head. Good bread and dough aroma. Crisp, clean flavor, light sugars, doughy malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild bitter finish, again clean and crisp, tight bread and dough. Very good. Highly drinkable.

UPDATED: NOV 20, 2011 RBESG August 2011, bottle from King William IV. Cloudy golden with a lasting white head. Very fresh aroma of grain and malt with herbal hops. Sweetish malty flavour with nice hop character. Very bitter

Cask at the White Horse, Parsons Green, 2nd May 09. Hazy golden straw colour. Good dry & hoppy flavour but also has balancing sweetness and richness. Very nice.

Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, flowers, citrus notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100814]

Bottle, 4.5%. OK fruity aroma. Cloudy golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is nicely fruity, has a good yeast note. A little soapy flavour and aftertaste, but not bad. A good Zwickel IMO.

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow with a huge white head. Aroma is fruity and light citrusy hoppy. Bitter, citrusy and crisp hoppy. Bitter and citrusy into a dry and crisp finish.

From bottle at Brodies Autumn Festival at the William IV on 4 September 2010. Hazy straw colour. Clean and fresh. Touches of biscuity malt. Some noble hop character. Not one of Brodies’ stand-out beers for me but pretty solid.
