On keg, King William IV, Leyton, London, 9/1/2016. Pre-family meal. Excellent sour notes. Very much like a Frank Boon gueuze. Bone dry. Loads of cherry-cola on the tongue. Nice carbonation. Like a bottled beer. Not ott not too soft. Great drinkability. The lactose was there but it was not at all heavy or prominent which is exactly how lactose should be. I did get a huge abundance of cherry-cola and I thoroughly enjoyed this. Excellent.

Sampled from bottle @ Hey Julien is back and Dean’s floor is moist tasting. Clear pink to red color, medium sized off-white to pinkish head. Smell and taste sourish, cherries, sour red fruit. Like it, nice one.

Keg at Old Coffee House. Buttery, little sherbet, only mild, slightly watery cherry vibes. Not really much sourness or tartness here. That said, once the wet yeast vibes die down it’s pretty drinkable. Overall a rare fail for a Brodies sour sadly.

7/III/15 - on tap @ ACBF 2015 (Vichte) - BB: n/a (2015-324) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!

Clear pale red to pinkish beer, small aery pink head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of butter, diacetyl, sweet, bit sugary, more diacetyl, fruity touch. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish, buttery, weird, bit off, sweet. Aftertaste: fruity, cherries, diacetyl, yoghurt. Nope, this is not good at all. Did anyone taste this stuff? How did they think they’d get away with this?
