Keg Old Coffee House London 03/05/13. A hazy yellow coloured beer with a wisp of white head. Very sour. Quite funky and very fruity. More lemon than pineapple for me. Great acidity. Puckeringly tasty but does seem a bit forced.
3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Scopey (3229) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 9, 2013
Keg at Old Coffee House, Soho. It pours hazy pale yellow with a small white head. The nose is barnyard, cat litter, sweat, dull fruity sweetness and icing sugar. The taste is mouth-puckeringly tart, sour pineapple, peach, grapefruit, slight syrupy feel, earth, cat litter, barnyard and sweat with a dry finish. Light-medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. I’m not mad about the smell, but its damn tasty and refreshing!
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Svesse (5195) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAY 4, 2013
(Draught at King William IV, Leyton, London, 25 Apr 2013) Hazy yellow colour with brief head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of bread, tropical fruit and wheat. Fruity, malty, tart taste with tropical fruit, citrus and a slightly soapy wheat character. Balanced sourness. Light body, quite dry. Lacks the depth and freshness of the cherry edition, and reminds me more of a low alcohol fruit wheat beer. Drinkable but quite boring.

Wife says fizzy piss but not sure how she would know. Smells great but the taste isn’t doing it for me. Although...there’s something there that appeals. Glad I tried it.

500ml bottle. Pours light gold with a small head. Aroma is light yoghurt and pineapple. Taste has light tart notes to start and a mild, sour yoghurt finish. Low carbonation, easy drinking.

Keg @ The Old Coffee House. The pour’s deep gold with absolutely no head whatsoever. Still appearance. The nose is tart warhead candy. Sugary Swedish Fish. Lght pineapple and rotting peach. Hints of body odor. The taste is more of the same. Acerbic pineapple and peach. Citric acidic kick. Lip-puckering sourness on the tangy wheaty finish. Light body. Smooth. Hardly any carbonation. Overall, a much sharper beer than the other sours I’ve tried from Brodies. Good stuff.

Cask at the King William IV Bunny Basher - 30/03/13.
Hazed pale golden with a thin white head.
Nose is on the thin side, not a lot doing, touch pineapple, sugary canned fruit.
Taste redeems this beer, touch of pineapple, sour/tarte tropical fruits, sugars.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry finish.
Drinkable sour but had less depth than the others for me.
