On tap @CBC13. Ruby red with pinkish beige head. Aroma surprisingly malty, and red berries. Taste sour with lots of raspberries and lactic acid. I like!

Bottle at home. Pours a vivid ruby pink with little to no head. Big jammy raspberry yoghurt on the nose, just a touch of sharp fruit tartness but really it’s sweet berries everywhere. Slight berry sweetness up front before fading into a soft, refreshing puckering sourness. Touch of balsamic and lots of raspberry seed dryness on the finish. Not a lambic style really, but it’s perfectly dry and refreshing. A nice halfway house between sweet fruit and mouthwatering sourness.

Fra fat på CBC mai-13: Rubinrød med lyserødt skum, minner om barndommens Kongen av Danmark-drops. Smaker nesten sånn også, men surere. Tørr avslutning.

Pours murky dark red with a small, staying, off-white head. Aroma has sugar, raspberry, lactic acid. Medium carbonation, a tad thin mouthfeel. Flavour has raspberries, sharp lactic youghurt taste. A bit short aftertaste.

Keg at King William IV. It pours hazy deep red with a small light pink head. The nose is earthy, baryard, over-ripe raspberry, faint jam, cherry and plum. The taste is tart raspberry, raspberry seed, vinegar, mouth-puckering tartness, red grape skin, plum skin, lemon and lime pith. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Sour, refreshing and rather tasty.
