On tap at the Old Coffee House - London. Pours cloudy yellow with a fine, white foam head. Citric lemon nose. Light sweet flavor, very crisp, loads of biting, acidic lemon, faint dough. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Very crisp to finish with slightly more mellowed lemon acidity sting, mild dough sweetness. A great, very refreshing Berliner weisse.

Tap at IMBC. Pours a pale straw/gold, moderately cloudy, reasonable white head.
Amazing aroma of citrus, grapefruit and lemons, with a slight wheatiness and perhaps some bread dough.
Flavour is a great hit of sour grapefruitiness with some lemon as well. Very refreshing and just the beer you need in the middle of a beer festival to clear the palette.
Over all this is a really good beer, perhaps a little one dimensional but great none the less.

Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Very fresh and zesty. Not particularly complex, but smooth, tasty and highly drinkable.

Keg in The Old Coffee Shop. Colour is very very light pale yellow, touch of haze, light white bubbley head. Nose to be frank is urine, with a bit of lemon. Acidic, musky, pungent. Taste is sharp sour lemons, so much so that you get a shiver right up your spine. It’s fresh sour lemons, but with some wheaty malt that softens the sourness. Very refreshing.

The taste is light tart lemon curd, mild balancing sweet flavors. Very light body, lip-puckering. Soft carbonation. Overall, this was really pleasant. A nice drink on a hot day.

3.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 madmitch76 (9867) - , Essex, ENGLAND - SEP 22, 2012
19th September 2012 Old Coffee House. Very very pale gold beer - venturing near colourless! Little white head. Gorgeous nose of of pineapple and mango. Palate is a little crisp and quite dry. The pineapple and mango carry over from the nose but are dominated by lightly sour lemon - lime. Very slightly acidic. Finishes dry. Nice beer but a little too sharp for me to drink pints.
