Unclear - hazy medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, plastic, grapefruit, wood. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long to average duration. (I did to focus on the plastic so IMO not good) Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Hazy deep yellow beer with a frothy white head. Lightly toasted malty aroma with some flowery scents hoppy and an unpleasont buttery, slightly chemical note. Taste is rather thin, yet extremely bitter and un-fruity. Slightly chemical, long lingering bitter finish. Strange and one-dimensionel.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a cloudy golden with a dense white head. Greasy hop aroma. Medium body, a very dry fruitiness, chemicals and phenols with a heavy bitterness throughout. Damm, I don’t care for 7 hops if they are all British - and they seem to be. 200312

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask at William IV during Brodies Birthday Bash 2011. Slight hazy, yellow-gold pour with a small, white head. Mild nose, subtle notes of crispy malts and dough. Medium sweet flavor, some bready malts, light white sugar, faint plastic bitterness. Medium in body with fine carbonation. Some sugar in the finish, more bready malts and modest hops. Nothing too wrong here. Quite drinkable.
