Taste is spice, rubber, citrussy lemon, hint of vegetable rot, light bitterness. This was in less than perfect condition.

A lovely ale to consume. Unfortuntly for me, it was far too nice, cos it was simply made to be quaffed down, even at the strength of 5%

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Crystal clear golden with a loose film and ringed white head. Oddly dusty fizz to the creamy fruit noise. Melon meringue initial taste before opening up to a sweet and tightly cropped dry citrus clink. Clean and neat sweetness throughout without being overly cloying or bitter. Nice tandem in the finish, similarly sweet and tutti fruiti.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: DEC 27, 2015 Cask at the Cross Keys, Covent Garden. Golden, clear with a bit of wispy head from the natural carbonation. Luscious scent if tropical fruit and lemongrass. Taste is bitter but not too much so. Slight notes of pear, woodsmoke and soap, but the latter clears in the clean dry finish. A fantastic cask beer.
