2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 FatPhil (7496) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 6, 2011
Cask (William IV, RBESG2011 Saturday)
Rather silly raspberry beer. It starts off right from the outset as being a limp beer, and the raspberry just makes it sillier. However, I’m proud to have raised a glass. Next time make a macho themed beer instead please?
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Leighton (6921) - London, ENGLAND - SEP 1, 2011
Cask at William IV, London, during RBESG 2011. Pours grapefruit pink with a white head. Sweet berry aroma. Light sweet flavor, faint tart berries. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Mild sweet finish, a bit more semi-tart berries. Could do with a bit more sugar. Just a touch bland, but pretty nice.

Cask at Dean Swift. Clear bright pink, quick diminishing white head. Funky and unpleasant vegetal rhubarb aroma - taste follows, more rhubarb, less paper. Acidic, slick mouthfeel, tart aftertaste. Not a fan
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ethereal (2399) - Los Angeles, California, USA - AUG 8, 2011
500ml bottle from Drink of Fulham, drunk at home, 29th Nov 2010. Hazy straw yellow with a small white head. Raspberry nose. Flavour has raspberry and grapefruit. Makes the aroma a bit flat and sweaty. Dry finish. Palate stands up well given the low strength.
