On tap at Bunny Basher (Brodies Beer Festival) King William IV, Leyton, London, Friday 18th April 2014 Thick in the mouth barrel ageing very apparent a bit sticky. Nose is boozy. Its good but perhaps I am finding this just a little too boozy all over to be truly great, I liked the liquorice and raspberry beer stout better. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Cask at Brodies festival, King William IV, Leyton on 8 April 2012 - sneak preview. I’ve enjoyed all the Romanov variants and this was no exception. Black, rich and tasty. Surprisingly drinkable to boot. Just a little less appealing and rougher round the edges than the Rioja barrel.
