Old Coffee House. Keg. Thanks to Rocket Rudkin for the gen. Light haze on this gold beer, good white head. Light crisp palate. Good minerally crisp palate. Thin malt,.almost non existent, but manages to avoid the trap of so many beers in this - cough - style by not being hollow. Big hops - fresh yellow grapefruit followed by peel and pith of the same. Little orange peel and a whisper of hop skunk. Crisp finish, long bitter linger.

Keg at the Old Coffee House - Soho, London. ours clear gold with a tight, white froth cap. Lots of dry, pithy citrus on the nose with pale hay and minerals. Light sweet flavor with pine needles, lemon rind, flinty minerals, dry pale malts, orange rind, too. Light bodied with average carbonation. Very crisp to finish, moderately drying, with some bitter pine, faint earth, more minerals, citrus rind. Pretty good.

Keg at Brewdog Shepherds Bush. Pours very clear, bright, light gold - no London Murky here - with a thick white head that stays well. Aroma of light citrus, orange and lemon peel, slight floral. Long deep bitterness, grapefruit,, lemon, but good balance. Medium carb, slightly oily texture, but really impressive body - would never guess this was 2.7%.

Scopey (7375) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 29, 2014
Keg at Old Coffee House. End of the Keg. It pours hazy golden with a medium white head. The nose is crisp lemon, grapefruit, sherbet, earth and straw. The taste is bitter, lemon rind, grapefruit peel, dough, wood and straw with a dry, bitter finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. A rather nice hopped-up low abv number.

Keg at the Old Coffee House, 21/01/14. Lightly hazed golden amber with a big old off white head. Nose is subtle hoppage, lemon sherbet, bitter orange, straw, lemon rind, light pine. Taste carries a chalky mineral bite, sharp grapefruit, orange pith, soft bread dough, pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, grassy hop bitterness in the closure. Solid sessionable hoppy affair.
