Cask (William IV, Leyton, Brodies Christmas Cracker 2009)
Chocolate cake! Massive sweet body. Very cakey palate. Perhaps too sweet and a little less than fresh, but this is so choc full of positive tastes. Finish alas has a slightly salty metallic tin. or zinc twang on the teeth. So massively cakey, it may be sweet, but it’s fun!

Malty, fruity taste with notes of nuts, dried fruit, caramel and a decent citrussy bitterness. Medium body, balanced sweetness. Quite decent.
