Fruity hoppy aroma - mango and other fruitiness. Fruity hops, nice and crisp, in good balance with a light and creamy malty body. Fresh and crisp and very sessionable.
3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 BeerCast_Rich (1197) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - SEP 30, 2011
[cask at the King William IV, Leyton] [Shoreditch Sunshine on pump clip] Golden pour, thin white head. Aroma of sweet malt and grassy, citrus hop – although overall the aroma is quite faint. Taste-wise, a bitter golden ale. Decent but quite thin, the slightly musty hop and malt flavours just about come through, as does the dry finish, but it needs a bit more oomph [20092011]

500ml bottle from Drink of Fulham, drunk at home, 20th Dec 2010. Looks great - very slightly hazy straw gold with a lazy white head. Grapefruit on the nose and in the taste as expected. Bitter finish. How to do a quaffable summer beer with decent hopping.

Cask at the Cross Keys. Pours a clear, light yellow with a foamy, white head. Holds a beautiful, citra hop nose with orange, lemon and straw. Flavor is mildly sweet, faintly doughy, with great citric bitterness, grass, fine lemon and pine. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Fairly bitter finish, citrus rind in the throat, modest but just enough malty sugars. This beer is superbly balanced and insanely good. Well done, Brodies.

Cask conditioned at The Cross Keys, Covent Garden, London. Gold with white head. Initially a deep sulphery nose, overblown eggs, but in to the beer this gives it a crisp edgy flavour, nicely bitter and plenty of the cascade hops. Good stuff.
