At the brewpub in Leyton. Not the most attractive of beers - looks like a piece of paper had been left in the beer overnight. A little stir broke it all up and made it resemble something respectable (ie hazy amber). Slightly syrupy palate. Rich toffee caramel. Sweetish with a little alcohol warmth. Mild citrus. Semi dry finish. Slips down pretty easy for such a high abv beer.

Hazy amber brown beer. Little bubbly white head. Light silky palate. Sweet malt, light spice. Port wine and red fruits. Semi dry finish. Hangs together better than last time but to me very much a barleywine.

Cask handpull at William IV Leyton. Hazy copper colour with bits in it. Not much tripel flavour touch of crystallised tangerine satsuma but lovely hop. Hard to rate and watch football
