Cask at Cask, Pub & Kitchen, London. An unclear amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and sulphur. The flavor is sweet with notes of lemons and malt as well as lighter notes of sulphur, leading to a bitter and hoppy finish.

Cask (Cask P&K, RBESG Sunday)
Fruity hop aroma - simcoe-like. Full taste - malts, aromatic fruity hops, and nice bittering hops too. What more could you ask for in a 4% bitter?

Cask at William IV during Brodies Birthday Bash 2011. Pours clear gold with a foamy, white head. Light citrus nose, faint woody hops. Beautiful flavor, very clean, nice balance, some citrusy bitterness, sun-kissed grains and barley. Light bodied with fine carbonation and great condition. Sweet and somewhat sticky finish, slight raw hops, more citrus, light resins. A pretty excellent beer.

Cask - at Cask Pub & Kitchen - August 7, 2011. Slightly amber gold with an average creamy beige head. Grassy aroma with an acetone bite overlying it, some alcohol. Taste is odd - quite a lot of sour unripe fruit in addition to the grassiness, noticeable alcohol - literally becomes like not-quite-ripe persimmon, distractingly so - a definite seven minus, if not a six. Average body, extremely astringent, weakly carbonated, quite a sour finish to it, long, acidic and bitter - didn’t find this one awesome - too tart for me, in context.
