On cask (handpump) at Brodies Autumn Festival at the William IV on 4 September 2010. Easy drinking. Clean and crisp. Fruit is very subdued. Rather lightweight. No doubt would be a serviceable summer glugger but I didn’t find it one of the more interesting Brodies beers. Does what it does well enough though.

Cask at the William IV (Brodies Autumn Fest), 4th Sept 2010. Hazy golden amber with no head. Strawberry on the nose and in the flavour. Hint of vanilla too. I disagree with Ian, I feel that strawberries really don’t work well in a beer. I declined to finish my half.

Cask handpull at William IV. Now I really liked this. Gold, no head. Touch of strawberry on aroma. Touch of vanilla maby but love the strawberry on the finish. I loved the fruit.

Ungstrup (23922) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 1, 2010
Bottled. A dark golden beer with sediment floating around under a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of spices, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, strawberries, straw, hops, and spices, leading to a dry hoppy finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
