Bottle: Unclear, ruby-amber coloured, visible carbonation, floaties detectable, stable tanned layer, not too sweet toasty-caramelly nose, covering a well hidden fruitiness; light to moderate sweet-sourish flavour, barely full bodied; some bitter-malty traces in the toasty-yeasty finish. O.K.,but no great pleasure…

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Hogerdijk, Culemborg. Reddish brown with a rather big dense beige head. Sweet caramel aroma with some black berries. Taste is bittersweet but the berries tend to dominate all. Aftertaste is nicely bitter. Bit of an odd beer, not very balanced.

Deep red - amber beer, small pale tan head. Light palate, a little crisp and quite frothy. A little creamy caramel malt. Nice tangy fruits - distinctly cherry. Lesser notes of peach. Trace of blackcurrant. Finishes dry - tasty little number.

Pours a pretty hazelnut colour with off white head. Aromas are grape, sweet raisins, brown sugar. Taste doesn’t live up to aroma... falls somewhat flat on the palate. Malty and a bit boozy..thin and watery finish. Too bad.
