Tap sample at In de Wildeman. Clear dark copper to brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of Christmas spices, brown sugar, candied fruits, amber malts, ground coffee. Flavour is likewise, with a nice coffee flavour and good bitterness. Light to medium-bodied. Decent Belgian Strong Ale, came across as a Belgian winter ale with coffee added. Nowhere near a stout as stated here on RB, that must be a mistake.

750 ml bottle. Pours a dark amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma of roastiness, wet earth and mild berry notes. Flavour is very, very unpleasant. Strong sugary sweetness, burnt bread, cream, metals and mild spiciness. Medium bodied. High carbonation. Very much overly sweet with high carbonation. Nope, nope and nope.

75 cl bottle @ Timo A. BBE 28.01.2017.
Pours clear mahogany color with a small head. Herbal aroma, some mint notes, nuts and malts, kind of toothpaste-y. Very strong carbonation, sugary flavor, caramel, honey, some spices, faint coffee. Unbalanced.

750 ml bottle. BB 28/01/17. Courtesy of Euphemos. Thanks! Clear amber color with a tiny off-white head. Burned coffee, toothpaste and caramel in the aroma. The flavor is toffee, brown sugar, sweet malt and some burned elements. Too sweet. Not my beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle, 7.7%. Mild coffee aroma. Clear dark brown colour. OK stable off-white head. The flavour starts off with a mild coffee note. It has a mild sweetness, lacto-like. Does not taste very alcoholic, but is nice and flavourful.

Bottle. Pours hazy dark copper brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with estery and fruity notes. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and fruit, with notes of coffee and hops. Sweetish aftertaste with notes of coffee. Warming alcohol presence despite the rather moderate ABV. Rather nice.

Black with a foamy head. Coffee with cream but also red fruits and roasted malts. I don’t like red fruit in my coffee. Full and rich body though. Long finish in which the fruit and roasted malt gets upper hand, more alcohol coming though as well there. Nice try, no cigar

Tap at Doerak. Almost black with off white head. Sweet malts, sweet fake chocolate, brown sugar, quite some sweet malts. Taste is mainly sweet. Medium bodied. Just sweetness not much else.

0,33 cl bottle. Pours a dark brown beer with a light beige head. Starts of with a laurel tastes and flows to a coffee taste even with sugary feel. Expected more espresso and intenster flavour with the double espresso mark on the bottle.
