3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Dranken Verheyen in Poppel. The beer very dark brown to black colored and pours a large and stable cream colored head.
In the aroma subtle notes of coffee. It even has some fruity hints of apples and pears. After a while some chocolate is noticable.
The taste is full and rich which clear coffee and cacao notes. In the background a rich and soft fruitiness which makes this beer well balanced.
The finish is pleasant with a decent bitter espresso and licorice tones, that you continue to enjoy.
