Very refreshing beer with citrus fruits, hay and a bit herbal. Medium sweet and mild bitter. Nice mouthfeel. Some copper/metal taste in the finish as a minor downside. Great everyday beer that beats any pilsener ;)

The aroma of this beer in camoflage (the logo and look make you think of a heavy strong Belgian Ale, but it isn’t) has a sour-fruity taste and a rather light body. It’s quite mild and offers a creamy mouthfeel. Despite the three Belgian hop varieties that are used, this beer is not bitter. The hops play their role in the finish that is subtle but short. Overall light and a bit too weak (even as this was the intention). Well, it’s not what you think… The brewers wanted to create a top fermented alternative to ordinary lagers but then with more character. That’s indeed what they achieved - but still I’d wished more character and it cannot even cope with good lagers.

Bottle 33cl. Hazy deep golden color, one finger frothy white head, recedes slowly to thin layer with yeast islets, adhesive foam results in good lacing; hoppy and fruity aroma, lemon, orange, lemon grass, yeast, hay; taste moderate bitter, light sweet, citrus; medium body, oily to light creamy texture, peppery on the tongue, average carbonation, dry bitter finish, lingering fruitiness, herbal notes; overall a crisp and refreshing ale, a good one from the Broeder.

Hell hefiger Antrunk, starke Karbonisierung. Süffig, frische hopfige Herbe. Zum Ende hin bitterer, harmonisch. Gut! 11/9/11/9/6/10
