3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 Beerenberger (800) - Fischer, Texas, USA - APR 29, 2013
Tasted as Broeder Jacob Dubble Port. Nose of malts and dark dried fruit. Pours a dark amber/brown with an off-white ring and no lacing. The taste is sweet. Malts, and dark dried fruit, with a touch of alcohol in the finish. Medium-full body with smooth carbonation. Overall, smooth and warming, but too sweet to drink too much of.
