(Bottled) Clear golden with a very small, lacy head. Aroma of sweetish, pale maltiness and orange peel. Flavor is quite spicy with coriander and orange peel, pale and caramely malt, mild acidity. Medium body, quite foamy CO2. A decently fruity, orange-spicy tripel. Not a classic, but ok. 4335

Bottle. Pours cloudy golden with an off-white head. Aroma of fruitiness, malt and yeast. Flavor is sweet and somewhat malty with some fruitiness and yeast. Medium body, average carbonation.

Bottle. An unclear one, golden in color and with a dense, two-finger off-white head. Lighly spiced and quite pleasantly hopped aroma with pale malts, sugar and some alcohol notes. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated, quite dry. Pale malts, sugar notes, a spiced herbal hoppyness, some bitterness and a little warming touch in the flavor. Lasting dry, bitter finish. Certainly a tripel I could have a few of. 120516

Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, wheat, dried fruits, and yeast. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter long sweet finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden to light-amber colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Bready (cara-)malty aroma with notes of candy-sugar, a rather delicately fruity touch and minor spicy accents. Moderately sweet flavour, medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Slightly soapy malty taste with hints of caramel and spicy notes of anise and lavender; slightly sugary and mildly fruity finish with notes of warming alcohol. Not directly my cup of tea. 27.III.12

Aroma is fruity with apricot, orange peel and soapy citrus. Very typical to a tripel. Flavour has soapy citrus, some metal and orange peel. Dry finish. Nice and rich aroma but I find the flavour rather disappointing.

Pours a copper colour with a white head. Aroma of sweetish fruits, hay and yeast. Flavour of sweetish fruits, malts, mandarin orange and some herbs. Light bitterness as well. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Good.

On tap at Gollem’s Proeflokaal. Clear golden orange, white head. Aroma is sweet, very spicy, fruity. Flavour is sweet, very spicy, metallic, fruity, metallic light bitter finish with a lot of sugar. Light bodied. Not my thing.

Draught. Hazy orange, diminishing head. Loads of orange peel, perfumes and wine gummy yeast. Sweet, spicy, slightly alcoholic/metallic flavor. Low on bitterness. Basics forgotten, too much spices.
