Draught at the brewpub, 6.3% (a Belgian inspired christmas beer). Served too cold. Sweetish aroma. Dark brown colour, quite muddy. Small, stable, creamy tan head. Low to medium carbonation, but at a good level. The flavour is sweet with a roasted caramellized sugar note. Nice flavour, not too powerful, but good for its ABV. Finishes with a light toasty bisquit flavour. A little yeastiness in the finish which is fine for this style, which I consider a dubbel. Well-balanced.

(Hand bottle 50 cl) Courtersy of yespr. Slightly hazy, dark amber with a decent, off-white head. Sweetish caramel nose with a whiff of butter. Medium-bodied, some caramel notes and some roasted malt with a weird, unclean edge. The finish is dry and bitter. 261107

Handbottled. A deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet and very spicy - especially cinnamon and cloves. The flavor is sweet and very malty combined with light notes of caramel, leading to a dry and slightly bitter and spicy finish - the spices being cloves and cardemomme. Thanks yespr for bringing this to Copenhagen.

Handbottled from tap, thanks to yespr for sharing. Clear orange coloured with an off white head. Sweet aroma of fruits, caramel, spices and pepper cakes. Flavour of fruits, spices and caramel with notes of pepper cakes and hops.

Handbottled, thanks yespr. Pours a pale amber colour with a rather small head beige leaving a good lacing. Aroma of toasted malt and some spices. The flavour has toasted caramel and malt, some spices and slight fruitiness.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown and with a dense off-white head. Mildly spiced aroma and solid caramel malty, quite inviting and Christmassy without being too spiced. Flavour starts soft malty with a bit of sweetness and a mild orange flavour before a mild set of unfineable spices apear - I sense a bit of cinnamon perhaps some cardemomme too. Ends with a decent bitterness and a continued mild orange fruity note. Very nice and solid session Christmas brew! Clean and welldone.
