From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malty, light breadish, caramelish and vague liqourice. Toasted malt, breadish, liqourice and roasted caramelish malty. Good bitterness to counterbalance the sweet malts. Vague fruity note. Bitter and toasted malty finish.

Pours light cola-bown with a small, fizzy, off-white head. Aroma has caramel, light raspberries, red apples. Lowish carbonation, okay creamy and light dry mouthfeel. Flavour has mild chocolate, light raspeberries, a hint of liqourice, roasted caramel, fairly vinious. Malty dryness in the finish. Quite okay.
