From tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown, hazy, and with a collapsing off-white head. Spiced and orange citric aroma, vague malt note too. Somewhat yeasty too. Has a light estery banana note to a solid spice composition of cardemomme, cloves and cinnamon. Subdued sweetness and malt base. Lasting wheaty impression mixed with spices. Clearly less tasty than their xmas brew last year. I just dont like the wheat esters in this one.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours muddy, pale amber-brown. A nice, creamy, lightly off-white head. Softly sweet aroma, malts, caramel and coriander. Low carbonation, a bit unimpressive mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly spicy, sweet caramel and a touch of chocolate. Okay.
