Ungstrup (11930), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 1, 2003 A golden beer with a beutiful lasting head. The aroma is very malty sweet - somewhat simple. The flavor is malty sweet with notes of grain - but very simple. The palate is quite good - probably the 7.2% ABV (which mine was). An OK Strong Lager. Oakes (7047), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jun 2, 2001 Smooth palate; light, doughy malt notes; touch of hay in the finish. Pleasant example of the European Strong Lager style, and better than the sum of its parts. Cornfield (4468), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jul 11, 2005 This has a lightly carbonated, thick gold body with a fluffy white head that seems to evaporate by the end of the pour. This has the aroma of a sweet jet fuel. The flavor is sweet malt, some earthy hop bitterness, and alcohol. Considering its other qualities, this brew could have used more of the latter.

Sal’s Beverage World, Elmhurst, IL
Radek Kliber (3433), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jan 28, 2002 This is re rate from last year .
