3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
This was a very smooth, stout, pouring a deep brown color with a beige head. The toasted malts add a very pleasant flavor and color to the beer, while like other Broken Bow beers, the hops sneak in for a brief appearance.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz can from yobdoog, t hanks Trev dog. Poured a solid black body with a large foamy deep beige head. Aroma is bad. Notes of dust, chalk, slight bad cherry fruitiness, band aids, medicine, slight chocolate and coffee. Flavor is slightly better, lightly buttered dark toast, slight chocolate, fruity esters, bad yeast. Meh this is another great beer from Broken Bow.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz can poured into a shaker glass.
Very dark brown with a small dark beige head.
Dark chocolate aroma, with soft roastiness and dark caramel notes.
Sweetish, prune-like flavors, mellow roast, medium bitterness and faint coffee.
Medium bodied, over carbonated, not very dry and not very classy. OK.

Clear brown with ruby highlights and a big head. Aroma of roast and chalk with a sweet note. Taste roasty and slightly sweet, light-medium body. Roasty and prickly palate.

Can shared tonight by Dr Rob, thanks for the opportunity! Earthy chocolate and caramel with just a hint of hop. Nice brew.

Can from half time. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Has some lacing. Smells really, really off. Nowhere near like what a stout should smell like. Thin mouthfeel. Nit much on the tongue. Probably one of the worst stouts I’ve had.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Location: Sampled at TapNY, 4/26/14
Aroma: The aroma is clean and roasty, with some chocolate
Appearance: It pours a light brown color with a beige-brown head
Flavor: The flavor is mid-sweet, clean, with minimal bitterness
Palate: The body is creamy, leaning light, soft carbonation, with a solid mouthfeel
Looks like I enjoyed this one a good amount more than most of the previous raters. The sample I had was simple, but enjoyable. Roast and chocolate, easy drinking, creamy, and smooth.

Pouring at the Hudson River Fest in Beacon. Pours a lightly hazed ruby brown with a medium sized beige head. Soft roast, light cocoa on the nose. Tangy, lightly papery chocolate. Cocoa crackers, malt and toast. Medium-bodied, grainy paper, cocoa. Chocolate, roast. Thin and a bit weak overall.

Looks great. Beyond that very disappointing.
Taste is reminiscent of cheap cola.

1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Nitro pour. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Smells of roasted malt. Taste is thin and the beer despite being at the brewery was served warm which took a lot of the enjoyment out of the beer.
