COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A remarkably smooth dark beer that boasts roasted malt and coffee flavors, accentuated by a hint of chocolate. Mt Hood and Fuggle hops impart a dynamic bitterness to this dry finishing beer.

This was a very smooth, stout, pouring a deep brown color with a beige head. The toasted malts add a very pleasant flavor and color to the beer, while like other Broken Bow beers, the hops sneak in for a brief appearance.

Aroma of roasted malt and cocoa. Taste is the same with a fairly smooth chocolate mouthfeel. Almost a bit of dark fruit/ cherry to the stout. Not sure why this one gets such low ratings? It isn't bad at all. Actually a descent stout, maybe some oddities but not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz can from yobdoog, t hanks Trev dog. Poured a solid black body with a large foamy deep beige head. Aroma is bad. Notes of dust, chalk, slight bad cherry fruitiness, band aids, medicine, slight chocolate and coffee. Flavor is slightly better, lightly buttered dark toast, slight chocolate, fruity esters, bad yeast. Meh this is another great beer from Broken Bow.

12oz can poured into a shaker glass. Very dark brown with a small dark beige head. Dark chocolate aroma, with soft roastiness and dark caramel notes. Sweetish, prune-like flavors, mellow roast, medium bitterness and faint coffee. Medium bodied, over carbonated, not very dry and not very classy. OK.

Can from half time. Pours black with a thin khaki head. Has some lacing. Smells really, really off. Nowhere near like what a stout should smell like. Thin mouthfeel. Nit much on the tongue. Probably one of the worst stouts Iíve had.
