Again IPAs aren't really my thing but this beer is an IPA which I could drink. It is very mild and not too bitter but still maintains a good hoppy aftertaste. If you don't like IPA but have to drink one this is a good beer to try. This beer helped me expand my horizons and realize that all IPA isn't bad. Again my rating might be shifted downward due to the fact this isn't my favorite style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Broken Drum poured a clear golden amber with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, light grapefruit and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit zest and a hint of pine with as crisp dry moderatly bitter finish.

Tap at the brewpub. Slightly hazy golden with a small off-white head, low retention. Light citrus and floral nose with some pale biscuity malts. Flavor much the same and a little grainy. More APA like, really. Finished semi-dry with bitterness at a 3. Low carbonation with a light to medium body. OK.
