COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Fairweather IPA is our signature brew: big, balanced and assertively hopped. Light golden amber in color it has a slight hop haze that disappears as the beer warms. Its aroma is predominantly piny hops with subtle malt underpinnings. It is surprisingly full bodied to balance the citrusy flavor, spicy finish and pleasantly lingering bitterness that result from its extravagant hop schedule.

14 July 2015, tap. Light orange, mostly clear, occasional bubbles. Nose is granola malt and sweet, grapefruit citrus. Thin body and moderately fizzy. Grassy hops and some granola malt, lift bitter finish. Pleasant.

Aroma: floral hops, some grass. Appearance: clear gold, small, creamy head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: bitters intensify, floral hops, soft carbonation, turns very dry and bitter in the finish. Overall: OK IPA, wasn’t quite as nice as expected from other reviews, english-style IPA. Pint at Moose Tooth Pub & Pizzeria Anchorage.

on tap @ Humpy’s / Anchorage AK --- Clear golden amber color, white head cover, a couple of lace strings. Taste is somewhat thin malt that moves directly to the swallow, adding light European hops to achieve balance. A nice, light, Ale, but hardly enough "hair on it’s chest" to qualify as an IPA.

At Capital Brew fest. This was poured into a mini snifter. The appearance was a fairly nice looking hazy somewhat golden orange color with a slim dancing lacing around the glass. The smell was a nice grassy orange to light grapefruity conglomeration of sorts to lead to a nice dry piney - ness of sorts. The taste followed the nose very well. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was there and slightly sharp but not overbearing. Still, there was a nice bitter sharpness coming over my tongue as an expecting AIPA should be. Overall, pretty good AIPA that I know I would down again if I could get it on a regular basis. I certainly hope Broken Tooth is reading this.

Tasted from draft. Pours a clear light amber with white head. Aroma is piney hops and a little floral notes. Taste is pine, floral, grapefruit, a little orange with a nice caramel sweet malt backbone. Medium bodied. Pretty solid IPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft pint. Slightly hazy golden orange with a big whitish head and great lacing. Crisp aroma of citrus and pine, particularly tangerine. Flavor has sugary malt balanced by assertive hop bitterness. Well-balanced. Medium-bodied, lively carbonation and good drinkability. Gotta love Alaska. Lots of good ticks here.

(Draught) cloudy, pulpy bright orange beer with wispy head on top. Nose of bright orange/citrus/honey notes, pine and grapefruit have a lesser role here too. Spicy note on the nose also. Taste is sharply bitter but not overly palate crushing. Orange peel, grapefruit zest, orange pulp, a bit malty which matches the bitterness. Very drinkable IPA wit HUGE hop flavor. A hop lover’s dream but I’m only half way there.

Growler pour, creamy white head over orange amber beer. Aroma of hops and light malt, spring spruce tips, pineapple. Flavor is grapefruit rind bitter, lemon, malt, faint spruce, and more grapefruit rind bitter. Palate is smooth and rich, with perfect, fine carbonation. Lacing is ridiculous, clinging from the top to the bottom.

This is a nice IPA w/ a light, creamy texture. The nose is pretty mild but fresh and hoppy. This is a little sweet but only very slightly sticky w/ firm hops to balance.
