On tap at the brewpub. Hazy yellow, minimal head. Aroma of malt and lemon citrus; similar taste. Light body with good carbonation. Decent hefe, fairly refreshing.

4oz pour at the brew pub.Pours a hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, banana, and light citrus. Flavor of lemon, banana, wheat, and some clove. Ok not great but it is aka ska and they are known more for their heavier beers. Still good.

[Tap] Part of a sampler at the brewpub in early September. Pours a hazy light yellow color. Not much foam on top. Yeasty aroma of banana, mild citrus and distinct vanilla. Sweet and cloying Wheaties cereal background mingles with some bubblegum in the taste. Hints of oxidation. Was looking for more of a robust body here. I really like the style, but not this particular offering.

Pale neon yellow pour with a little lacing. Whet flavor with a good bite from the carbonation. A good refreshing beer, although it seems to be missing something I can’t quite put my finger on.

Growler filled at the brewpub. Pours a hazy orange with a light creamy white head. Medium body with an extremely refreshing aftertaste. This is the best Hefeweizen that I’ve ever tried. This makes a beautiful summer day in Alaska even more enjoyable.

[1677-20080906] Tap. Mild grainy plastic malt aroma. Hazy, light orange brown body with a quick creamy white head. Mild grains and wheat flavour. Medium body. Not repeatable but not terrible.

2008-09-06. Hazy pastel yellow with a small white head. (3+) Flavour is sweetish up front with tart wheat and hoppy bitterness towards the back. Light fruit esters and a touch of lemon that may be native or reflect the garnish we removed. Mild wheaty aroma, light ester touches. Average palate could be a bit chewier. Simple serviceable hefe. On tap at the brewpub.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a lightly hazy golden with a smaller white bubbly head. Aroma of lemon, dough and some hefe characteristics. Flavors of the same a little more like an American Wheat to me.
