A brilliant copper color distinguishes this malty light amber ale. Designed as the ultimate compromise beer, everybody will enjoy this draft. After all, why compromise if you don’t have to?

The Moose’s Tooth Brewery serves the best pizza in town, along with some of the most amazing beer. This amber, along with Alaskan Amber, are my two favorites anywhere.

On draft at the brewpub 7/6/05: Pure amber color; crisp and sharp flavors, mostly cookie tones but with a casual hop finish. Pretty good.

On tap at The Moose’s Tooth. This is a good, mellow, easy drinking beer. Nothing out of the ordinary as far as Ambers go. Very smooth and consistent. My wife’s favorite Moose’s Tooth ale.

On tap at the 2005 Great Alaska Beer and Barley Wine Festival. Deep golden color with a fluffy white head. Sour wet grain nose. The flavor was a quick hit a grain astringency followed by apple and pear fruitiness with a soft bitter finish. Nice session beer.

Clear copper with a light head. Sofy malty aroma. Caramel and a touch of tea, perhaps a litte light brown sugar. Definitely not up to par with their regular amber, this is still a good session beer.

(Draft: Moose’s Tooth Brewing Company in Anchorage AK) Malty, grainy, lightly sweet, moderately bitter, and overall just nothing to get excited about; The nose is malty, lightly carmel, semi-sweet; Medium bodied with a fairly carbonated mouthfeel; Light amber color; The off-white head is mostly just a rim on the pour

   AROMA 5/10   APPEARANCE 3/5   TASTE 6/10   PALATE 3/5   OVERALL 14/20

Draft pour at MT in Anchorage yielded a golden colored beer, short head with an aroma of caramel and malt. Not a deep or comples taste but clean with a slight bitter finish.
