3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy yellow beer with a thin white head. Nice aroma of banana with some coriander spice. This is a nice Witbier, with the coriander spice, wheat lightness, and bitter orange in the finish. Goes well with some of the amazing pizzas at the pub.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
17-Jan-08 (Draft: Moose’s Tooth Pub and Pizzeria in Anchorage, AK) This dark-straw colored and cloudy beer releases aromas of coriander and banana, with some breadiness and a hint of asparagus. On the palate, unripe banana and coriander are very evident. Yeasty breadiness is also apparent, and orange peel adds a light bitterness in the finish for a long aftertaste. Medium in body, the beer is slightly heavier than the average Belgian white. Medium carbonation and gentle, spicy bitterness makes the beer very drinkable. The quarter-inch white head fades to a film layer and wide ring. Overall, the beer has a surprisingly strong element of banana for the style, but no matter, the beer is flavorful and enjoyable.
