3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Location: Draft at Spitzerís Corner, 12/29/12
Aroma: This one has a malt front nose, with caramel and chocolate, toast, fruity notes, and earth
Appearance: It pours a cloudy amber orange color with a frothy beige head and heavy lace
Flavor: The taste is lightly sweet, malty and earthy, with a light-medium bitter finish
Palate: It has a medium-plus body, kinda thick and creamy, but a hint oliy too, with a dry, sticky finish
Interesting stuff, but it just lacks that something that would make it more well-rounded and more enjoyable. I still thought it was solid though.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On cask at Blind Tiger NYC, poured into a pint glass.
Clear copper color with a small white head.
Aroma of whiskey, nuts and caramel malts. No hop aroma.
Strange dessert wine like flavors, nutty, low-med bitterness.
Light bodied and totally bizarre. Strangest pale ale iíve ever had to the point it feels like there was a mistake.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at the Growler Bites. Dark gold pour with a very mild aroma. A bit of bitterness, but nothing overwhelming. Not offensive, but unfortunately forgettable. However, I expect to see more from this brewery in the future.
