COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This deep amber, American-style pale ale is brewed with five different barley malts, generous additions of Cascade and Centennial hops, and a unique strain of yeast. The British, German and American malts used provide a complex blend of caramel, biscuit, and nutty malt flavors. The hops provide a gentle, pleasant bitterness with an intense floral and citrus aroma. It is dry-hopped, unfiltered and unpasteurized. We hope you enjoy this fresh, local beer. Brew details: OG 1.064. FG 1.016. ABV 6.3%. SRM 9.6. IBU 34.7.

On draft. Piney hop aroma that dissipates after initial pour, Some sweetness from the malts comes through on the palate with a pleasant background pine hop bitterness, slight citrus bite on the finish. Decent mouth feel. I believe the beer could be improved by using a combination of paler malts.

Tap at New York Beer Company Pale amber pour with a nice tight head. The aroma is softly malty with a little bit of caramel and some toasted malt. The bitterness is moderate but without much in the way of hop flavour. As it warms there is a little bit of light spiciness on the back. Decently balanced brew. A fairly simple pale ale but it's not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
