COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Premium Lager, no artificial anything, all natural ingredients (we all know what’s in beer, and what shouldn’t be in beer. Right?) She comes in at 4.6% Alcohol, and out of a 330ml brown stubby. Why a brown stubby? Because as any brewer will tell you, beer needs to be kept and drunk from a brown bottle. Keeps the light out, And the beer better. And the 330ml bottle…well you fit more into an esky. The official count is 1.2 standard drinks per stubby, which makes the Broo a perfect session beer, or just cheeky enough for a few quick singles. The Broo comes in the hero 330ml stubby. Comes in small herds called clusters (your classic 6 pack), and roam in big mobs (24 in a case). There’s nothing like the sight of a mob of Broo’s coming your way. Broo is also available on tap at selected pubs, clubs and at Kent’s place. Right now there’s only the one Broo, lucky for you it’s the best Broo in Australia. Unless someone tells us we need to make another one, this is the one. We might do light Broo for those times when you have to keep yourself right, or we might do the monster Broo. Give us your vote by shooting through an email to us noobroo@broo.com.au Broo isn’t a special occasion beer, you’re allowed to drink it anytime you want and anywhere. It’s not infused with salmon, lemon or peanuts, and you don’t even have to stick fruit in it. You can eat whatever you bloody well like with it, but by all accounts the beer tastes just right on its own. A mouthful of raw squid, and a plate of something that a good vet could get going doesn’t do much for the taste. We treat our beer like beer, it’s what beer was before all the tossers tried to treat it like wine.

Grainy, odd sweetness, otherwise boring. Not a great beer. Bought purely for the ’roo on the label.

UPDATED: JUL 12, 2014 For me this is the best of the mainstream Aussie lagers. Does not pretend to be anything fancy, but a perfect session beer. Just an easy drinking all round Aussie lager that is just a bit better than the big names. I bought most of them and then compared them, this one was the best. Price is slightly higher and only 330ml but worth it in my opinion. Not too much carbonation makes it easier to throwback. Excellent for the type of beer this is and the affordable price.

A cheap, mass produced Australian lager. Nothing special, but thirst quenching on a hot day. Little hip aroma or flavour. Pretty typical of the region

Bottle- Pours a clear light yellow color with a small head and no real lacing. Aroma of some malt sweetness and bit of citrus and not much else. Taste of malt sweetness and bit of fruit. Mild bitterness and a bit of a lingering sweetness. Light body, smooth and pretty bland. Another run-of-the-mill lager, pretty boring really.
