Had a real hard time figuring how to get this cider listed. I believe it to be made by a relatively small orchard/cidery in one of the remote sections of the West Country. Regardless, this was without question or reservation, one of the best dry, English ciders I've ever tried to this point. Its color was pale and lightly clouded. Its aroma was unique to the fact that it matched its tast of raw apple peels. I can't say that I've ever made that assimilation before, but that was the impression I got. One of, if not the, sweetest of all the English ciders I've tried which was classified as "Medium Dry". Subtle aftertaste which reminds of those wonderful peels again! Well worth going out of your way to track down.

Bottled. A dark golden cider with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of apples. The flavor aplles, over ripe fruits, and vinegar, leading to a tart finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of chriso. Pours a hazy golden with a tiny, rough white head. Dry and tart apple aroma. Medium body, completely still, dry apple notes with a spicy cardamom edge - a little ginger too?. Dry and tart finish with a slight but never overpowering astringency making this pleasantly drinkable. 220511
