From the barrel at GBBF, day 3 on 3 August. Cloudy straw colour. Light fruit. Quite dry with plenty of tannic grip. Mouthfeel was a bit thin. Not bad but seemed to lack a little depth. Perhaps an apple variety that works better in a blend (I’ve never seen it as a single varietal before)?

Barrel at GBBF 2006. An unclear yellow-green cider. The aroma is sweet apply with a light touch of acidty, while the flavor is apply with a light acidity, leading to a dry apply and woody end. The body is thin inspite of the 6% ABV.

Barrelat GBBF 06. Hazy yellow gold colour. Sour apple aroma. Fine if a little empty. Dullish
