COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Pennant Ale '55...Brooklyn Pennant Pale Ale '55 is a classic English pale ale, brewed with the prized Maris Otter Malt and Fuggles, Willamette and Cascade hops. Maris Otter is an old malt variety that yields an incomparable biscuity flavor. Pennant is chesnut-colored, medium in body with a hearty malt palate and smooth hop finish. This beer is a tribute to Brooklyn’s world champion baseball team.

Pretty typical English Pale Ale. Malty, distinctly savory aroma and a flavor to match. Not bad.

A nice, rich brown colour with a crust of puffy, pure white head. The nose is quite malty and it continues when it hits the tongue with almost savoury bran flavours. The bitterness is very light offering hints of respite from the sweet caramel that develops as you drink. It is delightfully sessionable and quite an excellent and traditional ale.

Definitely drinkable, but also not one of the best. Little weaker than the lager.

Amber color, creamy head. The aroma is quite buttery, caramel. Malt flavor, with light residual sweetness, a bit yeasty and just a bit too much buttery. Strong bitterness. It seems to be off.

Golden color with an amber tint. Dirty cleaning product aroma, with some malt. Pretty much bland flavor with some malt. Runny consistency. Cascade? Hops... The only redeeming quality. Pure finish with some malt aftertaste.

(12 ounce bottle - tumbler glass) Pours a amber clear color with no head. Aroma is a caramel, bread and nutty malt balanced with a citrus hoppiness. Medium bitterness, light sweetness. Oily texture soft carbonation.

Well balanced pale ale. Dark golden color with nice light head. Aroma of light malts with a complex malty taste and nicely balanced hop bitterness and aroma. Smooth finish.
