Nice lightly bitter flavor, balanced by a nice toasty/biscuity malt backbone. Nothing extraordinary, but a very drinkable beer. BREWMUSKCLES (1070), New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 25, 2007 nice brew, good varied and vibrant hop character. piney or resiny with a nice malt backing. the citrus hop infusion weaves in and out. not too intense. refreshing crisp and finishes long and slightly bitter. i consider this a classic. it is moderate in consistancy and well carbonated with small bubbles. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 25, 2007 Poured from a 12oz bottle into a shaker. This beer poured a light copper color with a foamy beige head that lasted. Some light lacing was left behind. The aroma of this beer was made up of light caramel and citrus notes. The flavor was mildly bitter with a hint of roasted caramel malt. The mouthfeel was medium-bodied with a good dose of carbonation. A decent session brew, but there are better pale ales out there.
