3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 glennmastrange (1547) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JAN 14, 2009
Bottle. Moderate malt notes of light bread and nutty, light herbs and leather for the hops and yeast, with hints of toffee and root vegetables. Head is average size, frothy, slightly off-white with fair lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is sparkling clear light copper. Flavor starts lightly sweet and light to moderately acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter and a touch sour. Palate is light to medium, watery but a little slick and has a soft to lively carbonation. Nothing bold here, just good aromas and flavors all around and as easy drinking as it gets.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 boFNjackson (2705) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 25, 2008
Bottle... Poured amber with a thin head that faded to some thin lacing immediately. Spicey hops on the nose. Highly carbonated with mostly hop flavors and earthy, wood/stick-like tones. Citrus flavors with malt grains towards the finish. Compared to Northwest pale ales, it seems like the Northeast ones are spicier and more airy--where as in the NW they likes to aggressively assault you with coninuing hopping.

Draught. Have always found this pretty boring, yeah it has got some hops but does not havet much else of interest.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 JohnQPublic (387) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - DEC 21, 2008
Draught. Pours a golden-amber with a fluffy white head. Nose has a dry, pale malt quality, as well as a bit of citrus, and spicy, piny hops coming through. taste matches suit - pale, biscuity, dry malt note, and a spicy, resiny hop quality, with a dry finish that pairs a biscuity exhale with a lingering light bitterness. Mouthfeel is a bit too carbonated, very fizzy, with a medium-light body. Tone down the fizz and you have a nicely drinkable, quite tasty beer.
