I think thats a good representation. A good pale ale that goes does easy and isn’t too heavy. I find its easy to convince a lot of people to switch to this from drinks like Bass or Sam Adams. mlist55 (210), media, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | May 23, 2007 Aroma of salty vegetables with light Euro-lager sweetness. Pours a transparent amber with a decent off-white head that lasts a minute or so. Okay, this is just wrong. Tastes like green beans with some Euro-lager sweetness in the background and a slightly sour finish. A little thin and watery.

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 20, 2007 Clear, amber/gold appearance with an average size, off white head and light lacing. Low keyed, biscuity aroma. Toasted malt taste, well balanced by the flowery, mildly spiced hops. Meduim-bodied, moderately carbonated mouthfeel, leading to a dry, affably bitter finish. stison42 (318), Blacksburg, Virginia, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | May 19, 2007 Golden orangish with a nice slight citrussy aroma. Slightly bitter but clean. Taste lingers with an ok body. Not bad but too bitter. ekstedt (2419), Göteborg, Sweden
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 19, 2007 Bottle. Clear reddish brown, medium off-white head. Toffeish, nutty malt aroma, grassy and piney hops. Medium bodied, decent mouthfeel. Light sweetness to start with, and a moderate bitterness in the (short) finish. Well balanced but onedimensional. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 14, 2007 It’s good to see Brooklyn available in Indiana lately. This bottle is labeled Pennant Ale ’55. Pours a clear amber with little head. A swirl of the tulip envokes notes of doughy bread and caramels, balanced by a touch of citrusy hops. The malt profile expands in the body, showing off the delicate honey sweetness and light breadiness of Maris Otter. Just enough grassy and lemony hops are used to keep things in kilter. Forget ’55, I would love to drink these during a MLB game anytime. ukoolaid (572), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | May 10, 2007 Flavoring is light and thing. Pretty refreshing on a hot day but flavor is thin and leaves a palate looking for more.
